Lighthouse Systems has been recognised with an “Honourable Mention” in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Manufacturing Execution Systems report.

“In the latest Magic Quadrant for Manufacturing Execution Systems, 16 vendors were evaluated,” said Tim Barber, company director, “so being recognised with an “Honourable Mention” alongside other global software providers is really exciting.”

Lighthouse Systems’ MES, Shopfloor-Online, provides a fully integrated, comprehensive platform with functionality across all four areas of manufacturing, i.e. production, quality, maintenance and inventory/logistics.

“With the release of Shopfloor-Online version 7, we have delivered a solution that works across all platforms and devices, prioritising usability for end-users on the factory floor. The customer feedback has been incredible,” commented Barber.

“As the pace of the digital transformation increases, we believe that manufacturing organisations need an MES which is easy to deploy and to run. This is now what we are 100% focusing on. We want Shopfloor-Online to be the most out-of-the-box and the most configurable MES available in the market,” concluded Barber.

Gartner also named Lighthouse Systems as a Notable Vendor in the Consumer Goods Context: ‘Magic Quadrant for Manufacturing Execution Systems’.  In this report, Gartner said: “Flexibility and agility are required to support both the tradition of high-volume manufacturing and the emerging challenges of product variant proliferation and the growing demand for personalized or customized product – necessitating both high-mix and high-volume output.”
