CMbE USA announces new facility
CMbE Machinery USA will be headed up by Paul Orsino.
CarnaudMetalbox Engineering has announced a new US-based machinery facility based in Lancaster, Ohio.
CMbE Machinery, USA will be headed up by Paul Orsino, who will also take responsibility for CMbE HV Industries and CMB Wissota Tool, whilst retaining management responsibility of CMB Norwalk, reporting to Andrew Truelove SVP Automation and Canmaking Solutions. Dominic Capretta has been promoted to plant manager for CMbE Machinery USA and will report to Orsino.
The facility will serve as a US hub for machine assembly and rebuild support, which will expand and improve service in the Americas market.
In addition to the US changes, CMB will be promoting the following to global roles effective immediately to support the continued growth: Caroline Mawer, currently head of supply chain, is promoted to director, supply chain CMB Global, Robert Brown, currently head of finance, is promoted to director, Finance CMB Global and Neil Pearse, currently head of HR, is promoted to director, Human Resources, CMB Global, also reporting to Andrew Truelove SVP Automation and Canmaking Solutions.
The company says the consolidation of these business streams offers the market even greater service and ability to meet the strong demand for its products.
