Cricket legend promotes O’cean Energy sports drink and recycling in Ball India cans

Over the last few weeks, Ball Corporation’s team in India has been working closely with long-term partner O’cean Beverages to launch its O’cean Energy Drink Sustainability Edition.
As part of the new recycling initiative, Ball and O’cean have set a goal to collect and recycle every can of O’cean Energy Drink Sustainable Edition consumed, a 100% plant-based energy drink. To date, over 300,000 cans have been recycled.
With 225 million followers on Instagram and 52.5 million on Twitter, former India cricket captain and prolific batsman Virat Kohli, is an investor and brand ambassador for O’cean. Kohli’s latest social posts, launched over recent weeks, are light-hearted but with a positive environment message which highlights the infinite recyclability of aluminium and the natural ingredients of the sports drink.
His latest video (click here to view), has notched up more than 21 million views on Instagram and 300,000 views on Twitter. With increasing demand for more sustainable choices by the public, Ball is working with a number of sports leaders and brands who have embraced this rapid shift to more environmentally responsible consumption.
