Massilly acquires Eurobox

Massilly, a family company founded in 1911 and dedicated to the manufacture of metal packaging, is acquiring a majority stake in Spanish company Eurobox, a strategic decision to strengthen the premium metal packaging market in Europe.
Throughout its history, Massilly has been characterised by supplying mainly, through its metal packaging solutions, the industrial and food sector, becoming a European benchmark with a worldwide presence and offices in Europe, America, Asia and Africa.
With its acquisition of Eurobox, Massilly intends to diversify its market offerings in the perfumery, luxury cosmetics and gourmet food sectors.
Together with Eurobox, there are now three companies representing Massilly in Spain: Iberembal, specialised in aerosols and caps, whose headquarters are in San Adrián (Navarra) and Grumetal, dedicated to canning and located in Sobradiel, a small town in the province of Zaragoza.
Massilly employs more than 2,000 people and maintains a global turnover of more than €700 million per year.
With more than 2,000 employees between all the companies in the group and more than six billion products sold, Massilly has maintained the essence of each company to act independently based on its experience and combined it with the know-how and facilities offered by being part of a group with a track record of more than 100 years in the market and a global turnover of more than €700 million per year.
