HeatTek, a leader in industrial oven and furnace manufacturing, has announced an expansion to its Metal Packaging Division.
Ben Webb has accepted the position of project manager and will offer a new resource to HeatTek customers. The sole focus of the project manager is the success of an entire project – from purchase order to equipment start-up. Webb will be closely coordinating with all parties involved to ensure everything is running smoothly.
Adam Plowman, director of the metal packaging division, explains the growing need for this position: “HeatTek has seen a huge increase in equipment retrofits. These projects can be incredibly complex. They must be executed perfectly and within a short window of time. Having a dedicated person to manage these moving parts further ensures everything happens as planned, and our customers can effectively resume production on time with their newly upgraded equipment.” Incidentally, canmakers have been seeing Ben Webb in their plants for many years. Prior to his current role, Ben was a Senior Field Service Technician with HeatTek, specializing in canmaking equipment. His familiarity with HeatTek customers along with his vast technical knowledge makes him the perfect fit for this role.
