New roles for Jennings

CanTech International editorial board member Simon Jennings has been invited to to join the board of directors as an independent non executive director of Hulamin and GZI Industries.

Hulamin is a South African listed aluminium company and GZI Industries is a pan African bevcan business owned by Standard Chartered, Ashmore, Verod and other equity investors.

Jennings, aged 57, is the founder director and owner of Nomis Consultancy, an international consultancy to the beverage can and packaging industries based in the United Kingdom.

He took early retirement and set up the consultancy firm after spending 16 years with Rexam.

Jennings was most recently managing director of Rexam Beverage Can Asia Pacific but has held a number of roles at senior management/director level across the group.

Prior to joining Rexam, Jennings worked for O-I United Glass, Kimberly Clark and Rockware Group.
