Wolverine unleashed on Hunger Breaks

Canned bean meals Hunger Breaks has unleashed super hero Wolverine on tins of its food.

The three-piece food can maker has also teamed up with Twentieth Century Fox for an on-can promotion, which offers the chance to win a samurai experience in Tokyo.

The Hunger Breaks Wolverine promotion features on over 700,000 cans and Hot Pots meals and are due in UK stores now.

A lucky winner will get the chance to enjoy an action packed Samurai experience in Tokyo, Japan.

The competition follows a successful partnership with Twentieth Century Fox earlier this year for a promotion to support the latest Die Hard film A Good Day to Die Hard.

This promotional activity forms part of a wider investment plan for the Hunger Breaks brand which has grown its product range by extending its bean meal range by launching new variants, including The Spicy One, The Bacon Sizzler, The Mixed Grill and The Full Works as well as the launch of a Spicy Pasta and Chow Mein Hot Pot.

Chris Wright, marketing director for Hunger Breaks, said: “The Wolverine will be a big hit this summer and it was the perfect partnership for us to reach our target audience with an exciting competition for consumers.

“Twentieth Century Fox is throwing its weight behind the film and it’s great for us to be involved, offering an impressive prize in conjunction with the launch.”
