Atlas Copco Compressors appoints new sales managers

Atlas Copco Compressors has appointed two regional sales managers within its vacuum solutions division: Steve Callaghan and Mark Handler. The focus of both appointees will be on sales development of rough vacuum pumps.

Covering the northern sales territory, Steve Callaghan joined the company after a 20-year sales and marketing career with fan and blower specialist companies. Callaghan says: “My goal is to use my commercial experience and technical knowledge of vacuum applications to generate high value business for Atlas Copco’s revolutionary new range of GSH VSD+ vacuum pumps in key industrial markets.”

Mark Handler will be the regional sales manager for the south of the country. He has gained extensive experience of the high and ultra-high vacuum equipment sector over the past 20 years, specialising in supply and service sales to university and research users. Commenting on his new role, he explains: “I am keen to raise awareness among manufacturing companies in the South of England about the significant energy savings and production improvements it can provide.”
