The aerosol industry returns to Paris

Next week (17-18 January) marks the 2024 edition of Paris Packaging Week, hosted at the Paris Expo Portes des Versailles. Sarah Hills and I will be in attendance, walking the exhibition floor and speaking to visitors all about the latest in the aerosol, beverage and cosmetics world, as well as listening in to some of the conference sessions at ADF Talks during the Global Aerosol & Dispensing Summit.

According to Research and Markets (R&M), in 2023, the global aerosol cans market reached a valuation of US$11.2 billion, with projections indicating growth to $13.6 billion by 2026, at a CAGR of four per cent.

Personal care is the segment that continues to dominate, as I’m sure we’ll see at this year’s ADF and as is already evident in the Awards nominees for this year (find them here).

Asia Pacific is set to be the fastest-growing market for aerosol cans between 2023 and 2026, with R&M stating that  rising disposable incomes and increased manufacturing activities in economies like China and India are driving the remarkable growth. Sarah & I hope to meet some of the aerosol companies from this region exhibiting at ADF, and, if you’re reading this and fit the description too, please do consider registering for both CanTech the Grand Tour and Asia CanTech this year to take full advantage of showcasing your company’s expertise. Beverage and food tend to take the ‘can spotlight,’ but aerosols are just as crucial to metal packaging’s sustainability message.

If you’d like to arrange to meet on 17 or 18 January in Paris, please drop me a message via the contact details below, or via my personal LinkedIn.
