The ExCeL centre in London is hosting London Packaging Week (LPW) today and tomorrow (11 and 12 September), with Packaging Première, PCD, PLD and Food & Consumer Pack connecting the world’s luxury, beauty, drinks and FMCG groups with packaging suppliers, materials and inspiration for the future.
Eviosys’ Ecopeel solution has been recognised as one of LPW’s Exhibitor Innovation Gallery winners and joins ten other packaging solutions including cool packs, shrink sleeves, coil foil stamping and reusable packaging. The EcoPeel reduces CO2 emissions by 20 per cent compared to traditional cans, and features a design that facilitates easy pouring without waste.
Paul Jenkins, a leading packaging expert and founder of ThePackHub, commented, “This year’s selections highlight the incredible diversity in packaging solutions, from reusable systems that challenge the throwaway culture to cutting-edge materials that significantly reduce carbon footprints. The breadth of these innovations is a testament to the industry’s commitment to sustainability across all sectors, whether it’s food and beverage, beauty, or e-commerce.”
Elsewhere, one of Bell Publishing’s magazines, Confectionery Production, hosts the World Confectionery Conference in Brussels tomorrow (12 September), so here’s wishing our colleagues Neill Barston, Chris Meer and Aimee Carnell every success with that.
