The prestigious Asia CanTech Awards are always a show highlight for the CanTech events team, alongside attendees. Ahead of this year’s awards ceremony in November, can makers who manufacture and/or distribute their products across Asia Pacific are invited to enter their cans and ends for free, for the chance at joining our Asia CanTech Awards Hall of Fame!

If you’re pondering which of your products is best to submit, here are just some of the things our jury looks for:

Dazzling aesthetics
First and foremost, we need a can/end that looks great. Maybe your product has its own unique shape, embossing/debossing, colour-changing inks, excellent varnish, high-quality graphics, a unique printing method used… the list goes on! If it has impressed your team, your supply chain and/or consumers, impress us too.

Improved consumer experience
Maybe your packaging is interactive and features a QR code taking the consumer to traceability details of the product. Maybe you’ve made it more accessible to consumers with the incorporation of braille. Perhaps the can is a limited edition run and collector’s item. Is it linked to a competition? Is there a hidden message anywhere on the can? How have you made the consumer feel part of something bigger?

Exciting, clear messaging
Packaging is storytelling. How does your product communicate with and enhance its branding? What elements on the can help to convey a particular message? Highlight the power in your partnerships and collaborations that help make the product a success.

Safety considerations
So your product is beautiful, engaging and holds a great message, but how does it also comply with upcoming regulations? Which protective coatings have been used? What about practicality and usability? Have there been any modifications that means the can is not only easier but safer to open for the consumer?

Strides in sustainability
Carbon reduction in manufacturing operations is becoming paramount. How did you save on energy and emissions during the production of this can? Was there something you trialled or changed that you’re particularly proud of? Did it have a positive impact on your overall business sustainability goals?

The Awards submission form gives you the chance to let us know how the product fits in with any of the above criteria and more: you get to describe the detail and provide any further links to videos or specifications for our jury. The completed form can be emailed to [email protected] but of course, please send a physical can/end to the CanTech office ahead of time! (To the address on this page.) It’s far better for some of our jury to be able to judge in-person, and it means you won’t have to worry about transporting your product(s)* to the awards ceremony if you are shortlisted – we’ll do that for you.

So now you know what we’re looking for, why enter?

Other than receiving a trophy, certificate and the potential, highly-coveted Supreme Cup to keep and display proudly in your premises and online, you also have the opportunity to:

  • Feature in our magazine’s post-show review, both in print and online;
  • Receive a social media spotlight, with your cans showcased across both Asia CanTech and CanTech International‘s digital channels;
  • Get noticed by even more brand leaders, fillers and producers, in-person at the show and through your extra online exposure;
  • Celebrate in style! The awards ceremony is followed by a delicious three-course dinner and local, interactive entertainment, creating the perfect atmosphere to rejoice with your colleagues.

The Supreme Winner at Asia CanTech 2026 was the colour splash end from Xiamen Baofeng. Crafted with precision, it boasted high-quality printing that saved costs, promoted easy opening and was tailored for large-scale manufacturing.

Other winners in the Hall of Fame have included Asia Can Manufacturing, Crown, Canpack, Swan Industries, ORG, Enpack, Can Asia, TinPak, BNM, Xclusive Can, to name but a few.

If you want to join their ranks, or add to your collection from previous years, submit your entry now.** Categories cover each product sector, from food and beverage, to personal care, general line and household.*

Entries close on 1 September.

Good luck!
