Tata Steel – A keynote to the future

The remaining keynote speaker for Euro CanTech has now been finalised with Tata Steel now confirmed for the event, which takes place on 4-6 April in Berlin, Germany.
Tata Steel’s Simone Vooijs, director technical, packaging & downstream operations, will be conducting the keynote speech and it will predominantly be focusing on ‘Protact, the laminated steel offering for the can making industry’.
Vooijs has a wealth of experience and has worked in the steel industry for 17 years in a variety of research, manufacturing and technical roles. In her current role, she has responsibility for customer technical service, process development, product management and product development strategies in the packaging business. She also has similar responsibilities for Tata Steel’s other advanced downstream business – Colours, Tubes.
Vooijs joins an impressive keynote team including Ulrich Roeske, chairman of the executive board of ThyssenKrupp Rasselstein and Colin Gillis, president of Ball Packaging Europe.
Tata Steel’s Raimond Koldewijn, marketing manager packaging, will also be joining Vooijs at the conference.
Euro CanTech is a conference for metal packaging manufacturers based in the Europe. The conference assembles technical experts from global suppliers and their customers, maximising the channels of communication between key decision makers in the European metal packaging industry and providing can makers with access to the latest in efficient and flexible production technologies.
Euro CanTech takes place at the InterContinental Berlin Hotel, 4-6 April 2016, in Berlin, Germany.
