Torus Measurement Systems announces new sales manager
Torus Measurement Systems, part of engineering group Torus Technology Group has appointed Darren Hawkings as sales manager for the metal packaging division.
With 13 years experience at Torus behind him, Hawkings will be responsible for all sales of metal packaging gauging and testing equipment moving forward with immediate effect.
He said: “I look forward to reaching out and forging strong relationships with our metal packaging customers. The team here at Torus are constantly innovating and improving our gauging systems for the metal packaging market, by focusing on our customers we can deliver inspection and testing solutions to exactly suit their requirements.”
Hawkings will be representing Torus Measurement Systems at the forthcoming Asia CanTech conference in Thailand, showcasing the latest bench-top semi-automatic gauging for beverage cans, testing axial load, dome growth and dome reversal. Torus will also be highlighting their latest machine vision traceability module, including visible & UV dot recognition, character recognition and rim coat presence detection, available as an additional module to the Z313 Enamel Rater and the Z340 Automatic Coating series.
