Casa Azul launches RTD tequila soda

US brand Casa Azul has launched amid a booming demand for canned alcoholic drinks.

Casa Azul’s authentic tequila soda line is setting itself apart from hard seltzers and canned cocktails by utilising real spirits, not malt liquor. The beverage provides consumers with real Tequila from Jalisco, Mexico, crafted with natural fruit flavours and agave nectar. It comes in at only 100 calories per can, 0-1g carbs, and 5% alcohol.

While the canned alcoholic drink market is flooded with choices, there’s an opportunity for better-for-you products that are made with quality ingredients – a space that no one knows better than serial entrepreneur Lance Collins. The beverage is initially launching with national distributor RNDC and will first be available for purchase in California, Colorado, Texas, Georgia, and Florida as well as online. Casa Azul Tequila Soda is available in the following flavours: Lime Margarita, Strawberry Margarita, Peach Mango, and Watermelon. All flavours are sold in single flavour four-packs and a variety eight-pack with two of each flavour, making it the perfect beverage to share with family and friends.
