BICO Steel expands steel processing capabilities with acquisition of RE Metal Finishing

BICO Steel, a portfolio company of Validor Capital, has acquired RE Metal Finishing, further developing its extensive steel processing and fabrication capabilities.
Based in Kent, Ohio (US), RE Metal Finishing, which has been re-named BICO Metal Finishing, provides steel peening and metal finishing services to a variety of industrial customers.
BICO is a highly-specialised processor of heavy carbon steel plate and forged specialty alloy steel, with locations in Akron, Ohio, Kent, Ohio, Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Breckenridge, Michigan.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
