Crown wins gold at Starpack awards

Crown Aerosols and Speciality Packaging Europe is celebrating a number of successes in the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) Starpack Awards 2014. At the awards ceremony, which took place in London, UK, the team was honored with gold, silver and bronze across multiple categories for its work with some of Europe’s beverage and confectionery brands.

Crown won gold in the Best Branded Pack – Single Pack category for its metal packaging for Bruichladdich Black Art Scotch whisky. Crown created a distinctive round three-piece tin with delicate embossing, gold imagery and contrasting matte and gloss varnish.

Crown also took home silver in the same category for its work on both Fox’s Chocolatey Biscuit Selection, and Bruichladdich Octomore Ochdamh-mòr whisky. In addition, Crown was awarded bronze in the Best Branded Pack – A Range of Packs category for its design for the Inchmurrin single malt whisky collection.

Crown was also honored with the WorldStar Award in the Beverages category for its Bruichladdich Black Art Scotch whisky container.
