GZI recruits Jennings as chairman
GZ Industries (GZI) has announced the appointment of Simon Jennings as board chairman.
In 2013, Jennings became the independent non-executive director of GZI Industries, following his appointment as vice chairman in October 2014. In Q4 2015, he accepted the chairman role overseeing the group’s further expansion through the acquisition of Frigoglass.
The election follows GZ Industries stated intentions to expand its operations across the African continent. Earlier this year the group announced plans to acquire the Frigoglas Glass Operations and construct additional facilities in Kenya and South Africa respectively.
