Magic Rock and Rexam join forces

Rexam has supported Magic Rock in its move to cans.

The modern designs have been developed for Magic Rock’s Cannonball, High Wire Grapefruit and Salty Kiss varieties.

Speaking about the partnership, Richard Burhouse, managing director at Magic Rock, said: “Working with Rexam to move from glass bottle to beverage can was a collaborative and effective experience. The Graphics and Design centre at Luton enabled us to understand the full design and manufacturing process and the proofing session was invaluable. We’re really pleased with the final designs and are proud to be one of the first UK craft brewers to adopt the ‘Metal Recycles Forever’ logo, showcasing our commitment to sustainability as a business.”

Roger Keukens, UK sales manager at Rexam, adds: “Supporting craft brewers such as Magic Rock is a rewarding and exciting process. Magic Rock is one of many brewers making the transition from conventional packaging to cans, as brewers continue to recognise the benefits in terms of its recycling capabilities, its light weight and the protection it offers to the beer. Magic Rock is a founding member of the United Craft Brewers Association, a community dedicated to the interests of craft brewers, and we’re pleased to have been able to show our support through this partnership.”

The 33cl cans will be available online and across multiple craft beer specialist retailers.
