Future partnership

You may have seen already on social media recently the news that CanTech is partnering with Paris Packaging Week for the 2025 edition of ADF Paris (28 and 29 January).

The partnership will see the magazine join ADF’s list of sponsors, and visitors to the event will be able to pick up our magazine for free near the entrance doors.

The 2025 edition of the show will feature the introduction of new areas dedicated to design, full-service companies and start-ups. Additionally, the event (comprising ADF, PCD, PLD and Packaging Première) is moving to the largest space at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Hall 1. More than 750 packaging suppliers are expected to showcase their products to an international community of more than 12,000 packaging designers, developers and buyers.

Among the standout innovations, the event will introduce the Discovery Zone, a space entirely dedicated to the future of packaging. This new hub will showcase start-ups that are revolutionising packaging with technologies such as artificial intelligence, eco-friendly materials, reuse, and smart packaging.
In response to the growing demands of brands, the PCD will present a unique Full-Service Zone, designed to meet the needs in formulation, custom packaging, and research & development. This area will offer tailored and agile solutions to help businesses optimise their production chain and accelerate the market launch of new products.

In another major new development, the Pentawards, the world’s most prestigious packaging design competition, will host its Pentawards Festival for the first time at the heart of Paris Packaging Week. This festival will bring together international design agencies, showcase a gallery of the world’s most outstanding packaging designs, and feature conferences led by global design leaders. It’s an opportunity for visitors to explore the latest packaging design inspirations.

These new initiatives will complement PPW’s conference programme, relaxation and co-working areas, as well as champagne, cocktail, and beer bars. The galleries dedicated to the winners of the Innovation Awards will continue to highlight the best creations in the industry.

Paris Packaging Week continues to offer a tailored approach for packaging innovators and creators by segmenting its exhibitions according to specific markets:

  • PCD for the cosmetics and fragrance sectors;
  • ADF for aerosol and dispensing solutions;
  • PLD for premium and luxury drinks;
  • Packaging Première for luxury products, including fashion, watches, jewellery and fine foods.

Josh Brooks, co-director of Paris Packaging Week, commented: “Paris Packaging Week is constantly reinventing itself to offer an even more enriching experience to its packaging creators’ community. 2025 marks a true rebirth with a new hall, which has allowed us to meet various visitor demands regarding design, subcontracting, and, of course, startups and innovation. The new exhibitors, networking spaces, and co-working areas will also create fresh opportunities for connection and discovery. Above all, we aim to provide a vision of the future of packaging for each of our visitors and every brand that trusts our event.”
