Sun Chemical to present at the Aerosol & Dispensing Forum 2017
Sun Chemical will showcase its portfolio of inks for monobloc, tube and aerosol cans during the Aerosol and Dispensing Forum (ADF) 2017, which takes place on 18-19 January at the Porte de Versailles, Paris.
Sun Chemical’s metal decoration inks specialist Herbert Naef will be presenting at the conference, he will provide his expert insight on the importance of colour management for metal deco applications and advise on how to achieve an optimised digital workflow to increase production efficiencies.
Sun Chemical will present its SunAltec and SunTrio product families on its stand and demonstrate its expertise, knowledge and capabilities in metal decoration through its ink solutions, including special effects, brand protection, brand colour management and print standardisation.
Sun Chemical’s SunAltec series of inks for metal decoration on aluminum collapsible tubes and monobloc aerosol cans offer high quality, high productivity and strong chemical resistance properties.
The MB Plus Series, part of the SunAltec product family, will also be on display. The series has been specifically designed for the application on monobloc aerosols and uses an ink system, which has been adapted for optimum performance on new generation production lines utilising today’s basecoat technology.
The SunTrio range for sheetfed printing has high press performance and good adhesion between layers and to the substrate. SunTrio, both in UV and conventional, is suitable for most types of metal packaging including food and general line cans, closures and aerosols.
Spot colours are easy to handle for both product families. Any shade can be produced directly onsite with the help of SunMatch, Sun Chemical’s web based colour matching tool. This gives printers the highest possible flexibility and allows a very quick reaction to any specific customer colour request.
