Hinterkopf introduces new impact extrusion press

Germany-headquartered equipment manufacturer, Hinterkopf, has announced the introduction of its X250S Impact Extrusion Press, specifically designed for the efficient production of small aluminium aerosol cans.
Forming part of Hinterkopf’s advanced X-series, particular attention has gone into the machine’s capabilities in slug feeding and extraction of extruded parts.
“Also very important is the interface between the operator and the machine. All our machines in the line have the same HMI [human-machine interface], which is very important for the safe operation of the machine,” commented the company’s managing director, Alexander Hinterkopf, in a video showcasing the machine.
Hinterkopf’s X-series also includes the X150S for aluminium tubes and the X300S and X400S for larger can formats.
