Caps and closures maker restructures

Weener Plastic Packaging is to integrate its subsidiary Plasticum Group.

Since 2012 the two companies have been owned by Lindsay Goldberg a private equity fund, based in New York, and represented in Europe by Lindsay Goldberg Vogel GmbH.

The 300 employees of Plasticum produce standard caps and closures for personal care, food and home care products in four production facilities, two in the Netherlands, one in Germany and one in the United Kingdom.

A spokesman said, “We see outstanding opportunities to fully exploit our growth potential.

“We are convinced that Weener’s restructuring and the established development, sales and distribution resources have created the necessary conditions for continuing our support to our valued customers.”
