What to expect from METPACK
METPACK 2014 will be held at Messe Essen on May 6-10. The eighth edition of the world fair for metal packaging will count more than 230 exhibitors for the first time, and an area of more than 10,000 square metres has already been occupied – more than ever before in the history of METPACK.
At METPACK 2014, the sector will present its latest innovations for the manufacture, refinement, painting and recycling of metal packaging. Amongst other products, these will include innovative seal technologies for peel-off lids, shaping possibilities for food and aerosol cans as well as production processes for lighter metal packaging for the food industry and gastronomy.
At the world fair, great significance will also be attached to the exchange of specialist ideas. At the METPACK Conference on May 7, 2014, international experts will impart their know-how about innovative technologies and processes at first hand. This year the event will bear the title: “Modern Global Canmaking”.
