One billion ends for HTW

Hindustan Tin Works Ltd (HTW), celebrated the export of its “One billion’th end” at the Metal Packaging Plaza during the Interpack show, the world’s largest packaging exhibition, held at Messe Dusseldorf, Germany.

This landmark achievement is a huge step forward in HTWs plans to become a major supplier of ends across the world. On this occasion, the team was presented with a trophy by the “chief guest” for the event – Amanda Mattsson, global category leader – Metal Packaging, Global Procurement – Nestlé.

In her presentation, commending HTW on this achievement, Mattsson said: “Nestlé and HTW have a longstanding relationship which goes back more than 30 years. HTW currently supplies Nestle with world class quality metal cans, ends, printed and coated sheets directly or indirectly in about 10 countries around the world. I would like to congratulate the team at HTW for achieving this milestone and look forward to growing our strategic global relationship in the years to come.”
