Campbell’s Soup appoints new CEO

Food and drinks giant Campbell Soup has appointed Denise Morrison as its new president and chief executive officer. She will take over from Douglas Conant on August 1. Conant will step down after more than a decade in the role. He will also leave Campbell’s board of directors.

Mueller joins Crown’s board

Crown Holdings has announced that Josef Mueller has been elected to the company’s board of directors. The board now has 12 members. Mueller has spent his entire 35-year career with Nestlé for which he most recently served as chairman and CEO of the company’s Greater China Region until his retirement in 2007.
