Baosteel to build can plant in Vietnam

Baosteel Group is planning to build its first overseas beverage can plant in Vietnam, according to reports. The Chinese company, which is the world’s second-largest steel maker by output, hopes the steel beverage can plant will help meet the increasing demand from the Southeast Asian market.

Students at a US University who are studying packaging science will benefit from contributions worth $400,000 that will be donated over five years by Crown Holdings. Germany’s Heilbronn Group has acquired Heilbronn Pressen, a manufacturer of mechanical presses and complete stamping lines for the sheet metal forming industry worldwide.
