Can-do attitude

This year has certainly felt a bit ‘move over Covid, there are new problems in town.’ However, as the December 2022/January 2023 edition of CanTech International will convey, our industry shows us time and time again that it’s poised to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.

Positive steps forward

Details of Ireland’s planned Deposit Return Scheme is welcome news this week, especially for those in the metal packaging sector who have been lobbying for schemes to adopt a variable rate.

Return of Asia CanTech proves a huge success

Asia CanTech has just concluded its 2022 edition and from myself and Bell Publishing it’s a massive thank you to all our attendees, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors and of course the events team at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers in Bangkok for a wonderful show.

Asia CanTech awaits

We are now less than one week away from Asia CanTech 2022, and our team is busy making final preparations before the flight out to Bangkok.

Grey days

A week has gone by since the world learned of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, and there’s still a sombre mood in the UK and many areas worldwide, with the funeral approaching on Monday 19 September.

Old but new

It’s time for a new introduction in this week’s blog, with Jill now having served her last week as CanTech’s editor…

Early bird rate extended for CanTech the Grand Tour

Following our announcement last week that CanTech the Grand Tour is going virtual on 8 June, we are also extending the early bird offer for suppliers until 31 March and a donation from each new booking will go towards the British Red Cross’ DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
