Old but new

Hello everyone,

It’s time for a new introduction, with Jill now having served her last week at Bell Publishing. We wish her all the best in her future endeavours and thank her for all her hard work on CanTech International over the past year.

You might be familiar with my name as I have worked as Bell’s digital editor for just over two years now. I’ve managed CanTech‘s website content and social channels in that time and I’m now looking forward to delving deeper into the can making and metal packaging world.

We’ve got some exciting events coming up in the next few months and later on into the year with CanTech the Grand Tour as a virtual event in June (you can enter our can awards for this here), and our Asia CanTech in-person event in Thailand in October, so I shall certainly look forward to meeting some of you there! I will also be at BAMA’s Innovation Day next week so keep an eye out for some exclusive aerosol-related content from that.

Our upcoming May issue will cover caps & closures, filling and a Czech Republic focus piece, plus a Grand Tour preview. Our former, former editor Alec Peachey has been assisting with this issue so big thanks to him.

I look forward to my future as CanTech editor and please do get in touch if you’d like to collaborate on a feature for the magazine, or would like to share your company’s news and developments with us.

To those that celebrate, have a happy Easter. I’ll be making sure the aluminium foil wrapping from my Easter eggs is recycled properly, following CMB Engineering’s ‘munch, scrunch and recycle’ instruction, shared here via our LinkedIn. 🐣
