Looking after your T & Cs
It’s been a busy few days here at Bell Towers, as we put the finishing touches to our bumper 100 page April issue, which sees an eight page Metpack preview of new product innovations that will be seen at the show.
A global team
Neil and I have just returned from Dubai, where we were kindly hosted by Sharad Anand (pictured) and the team at Delta Food. You can read about our trip in the April issue, where we bring you an exclusive case study feature on the company and a wider look at the can making market in the region.
A unique insight
As I touched upon last week, Evert van de Weg is a valued member of the team, which is epitomised in his contribution to the forthcoming month’s issue. This month he speaks with Ferrum on the company’s record on innovation and heritage within can making.
Building up to Metpack
It’s that time of year again as we build up to show season here at Bell Publishing. Our March issue sees your essential guide to Metpack, with April taking a more detailed look at the company’s exhibiting at the show.
Entries open for the Metpack Innovation Award
International companies will provide evidence of how innovative the metal packaging sector is at the global Metpack Fair being held at Messe Essen on 2-6 May 2017.
A Happy New Year
A Happy New Year to all of you from the team at Bell Publishing and CanTech International. We like to think that 2016 was a successful time for us with Euro CanTech and Asia CanTech being well received, and the launch of our magazine app.
The Metpack Innovation Award entries are open
At the global Metpack fair, international companies will come together showing how innovative the metal packaging sector has become.
Bringing you a scoop
I’m just putting the finishing touches to the last issue of CanTech International for the calendar year and it promises to be a cracker (pun intended)! The highlight is undoubtedly our exclusive interview with Ardagh’s new CEO of its metal food and speciality division, Woep Möller.
See you next year
Thank you once again for your support at Asia CanTech 2016 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
A brew to a kill?
The recent news of the merger between SABMiller and Anheuser-Busch InBev was some significant news for the industry.
Back to business
After a very enjoyable week on holiday in Malta, it’s time to turn my attention to the rest of the calendar year in the can making world.
Dates announced for Asia CanTech 2017
I am excited to announce Asia CanTech 2017 will take place on 30 October-1 November 2017.
Back to business
Aside from a nightmare journey back from Denver which included flight delays, an incompetent taxi driver and being sat next to the passenger from hell (don’t ask!), my week in Denver for Cannex was a really enjoyable one and a valuable experience as far as my can making education goes.
A straw poll
Ball Packaging Europe scooped the top award at the Euro CanTech Awards, which took place at the InterContinental hotel in Berlin, Germany on 5 April 2016.
