Novelis to expand aluminium recycling at German plant

Novelis, a leader in aluminium rolled products and can recycling, is investing $18 million (€13m) into the construction of a new recycling centre at Aluminium Norf (Alunorf) in western Germany. Construction has already started on a multi-chamber melting furnace and ancillary equipment that will recycle 50,000 metric tons of aluminium scrap per year to feed the rolling mills of Alunorf, the world’s largest aluminium rolling complex.
