Mall + Herlan nominated for award

Mall + Herlan’s steel monoblock can has been nominated for a German packaging award. The one-piece steel aerosol can design has been nominated by the German Packaging Institute for one of the awards to be presented at the Brau Beviale show in Nürnberg.

Blema Kircheis celebrates 150 years

German can making machinery company Gebrüder-Leonhardt Blema Kircheis celebrated its 150th anniversary last month. Fritz Eulitz (pictured right with owner and CEO Uwe Leonhardt), the 98-year-old great grandson of Erdmann Kircheis, who established the company in 1861, attended a party at Aue in Saxony.
